Pictures on the Plains

You’re invited to spend a family night at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds and Park! (25690 E. Quincy Ave. Aurora, CO 80016).
Bring a picnic, blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy a movie under the stars. Screenings are in partnership with Arapahoe Libraries. Event Details:
  • Tickets are $5 per person. 2 & under free.
  • Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; Movie starts at approximately 7:30 p.m.
  • Pre-movie themed activities from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

  • Dinosaur Dig presented by Arapahoe Libraries
  • Dinosaur foot tracing activity
  • For the Jurassic Park screening, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will even bring some fossils and dinosaur bones from their Education Collections!

Jumanji – June 30

  • Obstacle course by Camp Gladiator
  • Lion Bounce House
  • Safari Hat craft activity presented by Arapahoe Libraries
  • Touch-a-Tractor
  • Carnival Games
  • Roll the dice to 5 or 8 to win a prize! presented by Arapahoe Libraries

Frozen – July 7

  • Meet & Greet with Elsa from 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Bubble machine
  • Castle Bounce House

  • Snow Cones for sale from Kona Ice
